Inspiring the younger gen. on environmental issues with quiz and creative contents

 

Challenge

The organization is aware that Malaysians, especially the younger audience, are unaware of what SEDA Malaysia is all about. Meanwhile, they are commemorating their 10th anniversary this year.

 

Strategy

We design a contest campaign that is appropriate for the younger audience, from prize choices and mechanisms to channel use.

Impacts

#TheGreenHeroes Contest

To make sure the 10th Anniversary Campaign reaches and inspires the younger audience. We named the contest “#The Green Heroes Contest” to emphasize what SEDA Malaysia is all about. Participants had to answer 40 questions about sustainable energy and SEDA Malaysia via the online platform. The winner was determined by who received the most points in the shortest time.

 

Engaging digital contents for awareness

In order to make the young target group aware of the organization’s agenda, we communicate with them in a way that is more relevant to them, such as creating content on topics that interest them and environmental issues that concern them.

 

Converting target audiences into participants

After a series of promotions, we reached more than 2 million target groups on social media, got more than 32,000 people to engage with digital contents, and eventually got 1,423 participants to answer more than 40 questions to participate in the campaign.
