Repositioning e-commerce platform via colour & brand identity to create differentiation

 

Challenge

Youbeli has aim for the top 3 Malaysia marketplace for the year but a similar brand colour with its e-commerce competitor has indirectly affects the brand’s noticeability, we was assigned to make Youbeli stand out from their competitors.

Strategy

Rebranding creates an opportunity for brand to become more visible and stand out in the market. The resolution to rebrand for a well-established brand is more than just a change of the existing logo and design. New values which stay true to the essence of the company were added to make the rebranding more impactful.

Impacts

We created a new logo which uses outline and solid shape to represent Youbeli with different enterprise. As colour is the foundation to the visual identity of a brand in all its expressions and executions, we helped Youbeli to rebrand by using a single identical colour logo to distinguish the brand from their competitors in the market.

To ensure its consistency, we have prepared a series of design template for their business card, envelope, and letterhead by using the same colour tone as well as font.

It also enhanced the UI design for their website and mobile in order to provide the users an easy and comfortable interaction with the page.
