If mooncakes are just corporate gifts, what are they really for?
Mid-Autumn traditions are fading from modern family life. Traditional mooncakes often overly sweet and heavy, no longer appeal to younger, health-conscious consumers. Worst of all, they’ve become mere corporate gifts, losing their heartfelt meaning at home.
So how do we make mooncakes matter again?
Solution
In close collaboration with Yu-Ai, the mooncake was redefined as a catalyst for family connection. Beyond a low-sugar, low-fat recipe, the brand transformed its packaging into a Moon Landing Adventure, inviting parents and children to rediscover the legend of Chang’e together. By turning a festive product into a shared experience, tradition returned to the table where it matters most.
